Davos and Ecological Innovations in Agriculture

Davos is the city in Switzerland where the international economic forum takes place annually and where heads of delegations of different countries reflect the items of ecology and security of the Earth. Davos introduced the alternative for living conditions and provided electric cars for transfer. They conducted a city tour where solar batteries and wind turbine are installed on perimeter. They also demonstrated green areas that were planted without use of the chemical fertilizer.

Environmental problems associated with agricultural sector and possible solutions –

a top priority requiring urgent implementation and participation of the entire international community.

Agricultural sector has a negative impact on the environment. In the field of cultivation, loosening and development of land with the aid of volatile organic compounds and ammonia contribute to the loss of humus and atmospheric pollution. It’s possible to solve this problem if subsistence farming has a ban on use of the synthetic raw material and features accurate cultivation and planting in the shape of stripes. The increasing amount of rangeland violates the balance of nature, many species of “useful” insects distinct. The unprocessed animal waste rises the risk of ecosystem desertification. To regulate the soil condition, it’s crucial to reduce rangeland, create artificial fields for cattle, and to utilize or recycle wastes.

Humanity’s existence harms the environment – ozone depletion, acid rain, polluted flora and fauna are the results of the human activity. However, due to such forums as Davos and to the creation of the identical agricultural systems the Earth has a chance at revival.
